Because of a combiantion of things, I'm behind on most of my comics reading, with the exception of Agent of Asgard (which will surprise exactly no one, I think), and I have a couple things that are standing out to me right now:

Let me throw this out there - I love lesbians. I'm queer myself. I love the inclusion of lesbians into things. There is very little that I do not think can be improved by the addition of lesbians.

I'm fairly highly recommending Al Ewing's current Mighty Avengers run. It's thoroughly enjoyable.

I feel like it does the thing most of the Avengers titles have done in Marvel NOW! which is start off with a trope of invasion and assembly, but I feel like he moves away from it fairly quickly. Reasons why this series is awesome:

So, I was really, really on the fence about the new Marvel NOW Loki single, for a lot of reasons. I was worried about it, because it is the kind of thing and premise that could either be really good or really bad, and I also try to make a point about not fangirling about him whenever possible and instead focusing on characters that I feel need more ( Read more... )

Avengers Assemble #12 - B -[Spoiler (click to open)]Continues to be my favorite Avengers book out right now, and I think DeConnick handled Natasha well. The entire plot of this one is about the things she's done, and the things she's done to atone for the things she's done.
